Queenette was born in Cross River State, Nigeria but raised in England and Nigeria. She obtained her Juris Doctor in 2007 after a 5-year Law program from the University of Calabar, Nigeria. She attended the Nigerian Law School in 2008 and is Licensed as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. Upon her return to England, she obtained a Masters in Corporate and Financial Law at Kingston University, London. Queenette journeyed to the United States to pursue another Post Graduate Degree in International Business Practices in collaboration with St Mary’s University, Twickenham, London (The New York Program). She then migrated to the United States to be with her family. She is licensed by the New York State Bar to practice Immigration and Nationality Law in all U.S jurisdictions.
Prior to joining the Law Office of Erika N. Salter PC in 2024, Queenette worked with the City of Dallas and transitioned to a contract Immigration Attorney with various law firms in Dallas Texas. Beyond her professional and academic achievements, Queenette is deeply committed to helping immigrants navigate the complex nature of U.S Immigration law. As an Immigrant from Nigeria, West Africa, she understands firsthand how invaluable the right immigration advice and support can be. She dedicates her time to seeking out solutions for immigrant issues and volunteer pro bono legal advice at immigration workshops on U. S naturalization process organized by her church, the City of Dallas, and other not-for-profit organizations. She derives inert satisfaction in seeing immigrants win. She is known for her professionalism, dedication, and compassionate service delivery.
Queenette is a member of the New York State Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, and the Nigerian Bar Association.
